The Igloo FR180 is include in the 1.7 cu ft compact refrigerator category if you want to classify by the size. The fridge come with a stylish stainless steel reversible door which the front side is practically the main attraction for any refrigerator. Another features in design area of this fridge is the flushback design with soft line to add the overall appearance of Igloo FR180.

This compact fridge dimensions are 20″ height, 18″ width and 21″ long, it’s pretty compact alright just as the name implies.
When you open the door you’ll find a couple of slide out shelves, half-size freezer and 2 shelves in the fridge door. The temperature regulator up to 7 level, so you’ll have more options here on how cold you want it to be. Some customer has said that with just adjusting the temperature at number 3 it was cold enough for them. But when you turn it up to 7 you can expect very fast cold drink from a new inserted can beverages.

A lot of good and bad reviews about the Igloo FR180, but I must agree with the majority of the reviewers who was very happy with their purchase. I’m not going to point out all the praise and disappointments about this product, instead I’ll resume the important points only.
Pros:
- Fast cold and many temperature adjustment option
- Size is great, from the outside it look small but roomy in the inside.
- Low energy (like it should be) and CFC free (most fridges doesn’t use CFC anymore).
- The highlight is the stainless steel door (I personally think this what make all the different between others).
- Reasonable price.
Cons :
- The top and sides produce unwanted heat.
- After 4 weeks running, a customer has notice that the pipe in the back become really cold even produce ice. The water from ice melt down and drips under the fridge.
So, what do you think about Igloo FR180, is it a good one or you just say ‘pass’ on this one? I actually think this is a good one, mainly because the stainless steel door and the price is worth it. I also like an easy cold refrigerator, I always turn the regulator up for my fridge at home, being a fast to cold kind of fridge, this one have my vote.
